ACCESS

HOW TO GET TO ZARAGOZA

Zaragoza is located in the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula, at a point equidistant from Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao. This privileged location makes the city an exceptional meeting point.

Located in the heart of the geoeconomic quadrilateral formed by Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and the Basque Country, Zaragoza is a privileged location, gateway from Europe to the Iberian Peninsula, which has played a leading role in communications and exchanges since the Romans, more than two thousand years ago, chose the location of the ibera Salduba to transform it into Cesaraugusta. Commerce, culture, art and industry flourished in a climate of tolerance, which made our city one of the clearest examples of the particular symbiosis in which, for centuries, Christians, Muslims and Jews lived side by side.

Zaragoza has direct international flights, but only to some European capitals. To access from the rest of the world, we must take a plane to Madrid or Barcelona. Our city is very well connected with these two cities, both by train and bus. Zaragoza also has an international rail connection. The interior distances to these capitals are: Madrid, 325 Km. Barcelona, 296 Km. Bilbao, 324 Km. Valencia, 326 Km.
