Irish dance has become an important and significant part of Irish culture.
Its origin seems to go back to the ritual dances practiced by the Druids, a tradition that has evolved over time, reflecting the constant change suffered by the Irish public over the centuries.
Irish Treble & tribe cendra are two groups that have come together to give life to a project with which to introduce this energetic style of music and dance, and specially, making the public enjoy the rhythms and vibrant steps of Celtic music. Their classical and baroque band, together with a common interest in this musical style has led them to create a quartet made up of violin, viola, cello and guitar, in which they play folk music and their own creation based on traditional canons. The result is a fascinating fusion of cultures that lead to fast, energetic and evocative dance, the origin of well-known styles such as tap dancing.
